Activities and Assignments

**At this time all activities and assignments will be emailed individually to each family/student.**

This due to the individualized activities that are being provided to each student based on their speech-language goals.
Activities will be provided for the day your student typically has speech-language support.

Please feel free to email me at sabraden@dcsdk12.org if have questions and/or concerns.

Remote Learning Family letter

Dear Families,
I hope you were able to enjoy your spring break.
During this time of school closure, my plan until I get further guidance is to provide learning opportunities, via email, that aligned with your child’s IEP goals, on the days that your child would have speech. My intention is to supplement some learning opportunities, and not to make extra work for anyone of my students, so please use your judgment on what is appropriate.
Please feel free to email me with questions or concerns. Please let me know if there is a different email address you would like me to use.
Thank you all for your flexibility and commitment to your child's education.

Attached is your first activity.

Warmest regards,

About Mrs. Braden

My name is Stephanie Braden.  I am the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Gold Rush Elementary. I have been blessed to be part of such an amazing school/community since the school opened.  This is my nineteenth year as an SLP in Douglas County School District.  I have enjoyed my time in Douglas County not only as a teacher but as a student as well.  I grew up in Parker and graduated from Ponderosa HS in 1994.  My adventures lead me to the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.  I continued my studies at UNC to earned a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

I Live in the Parker area with my husband, Lee, and our 11-year-old daughter, MaKayla. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and friends, watching movies, reading, hiking, mountain biking, and off-roading in the mountains.
